Anadilini günlük hayatta doğal olarak özgürce kullanmak ve anadilinde eğitim görmek evrensel olarak kabul gören en temel haklardan biridir. Lakin Türkiye coğrafyasında anadili egemen dilden farklı olanların bu temel hakkı kullanması yasaklanmakta, çeşitli baskılarla karşılanmakta, engellenmektedir. 21. yüzyılda bu tahakküm durumu devam etmektedir. Bu yazıda anadilinin özgürce yaşanmadığı durumlarda ortaya çıkan sorunları irdelenmektedir.

Recognition of using mother tongue freely in everyday life and education in mother tongue is universally accepted as a basic right. However this basic right is banned and has been subjected to prosecution and repression, for those whose mother tongue is different from the dominant language in the Turkish geography.This hegemony is still the case in the 21st century. This article discusses the issues concerning the situatıons where the mother tongue is not used freely.
